Clouston Energy Research had it's beginnings in Orange County, California with research into
Photovoltaic Energy. Sidney Clouston the CEO has interacted and benefited with programs of
NASA and Los Alamos National Laboratory Super Conductor Pilot Center. Collaborative work
with Russian and NASA Scientists resulted in symposium papers, funding proposals as well as advanced theoretical concept papers for clean solar energy, energy storage inside space based
systems and interstellar spacecraft propulsion research.
In the past decade, Sidney Clouston was hosted at the Sloan School of Management at MIT where over 150 Professionals and Scientists joined the Sloan Technical Services (STS) Sustainable Development forum and working groups. The working groups were about all of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) of the United Nations Agenda 21 with a special Renewable Energy focus.
Renewable Energy and Space Power are topics and the name of the group at Research Gate where over 700 PhD and Grad Students have joined. Additionally over 40 Space experts network at Linked In at the Spacecraft Architecture and Engineering group.
As the International Director of the Regional Sustainable Energy Center of Excellence (RSECE) for
Sub-Sahara Africa Clouston Energy facilitated the growing of Biomass on Energy Commission of
Nigeria property and on farmland in Nepal, cooperating with the US Department of Agriculture.
